Make up ideas for those who have the worst luck ever!

I’ve been wearing makeup for as long as I can remember. In my family, everyone wore some sort of cosmetics from a very young age, even my brother at first until he finally got old enough to say no and realized that his face was meant to breathe naturally. When I turned twelve years old, my family allowed me to start wearing makeup as well. Now, at twenty-two years of age, I’ve tried every single cosmetic and skin care product on the market and even a few that aren’t available for mass consumption yet. Here is how you can achieve the “perfect” fresh face using regular household items!

Everyone has heard of using lemon juice under the eyes to get rid of dark circles. If you are in a pinch, here is how to do it. First, pour some lemon juice into a small bowl and soak two cotton balls with the liquid. Place one on each eye for ten minutes then rinse off any remnants of the acid with cool water. You’ll notice that your eyes are brighter because of the citric acid, however, there will be a mild stinging sensation. If you are very sensitive to harsh chemicals or lemon juice then this is not for you.

Dried basil leaves are wonderful for brightening up dull complexions and evening out skin tone. Crush four or five fresh leaves into a powder and add one spoon of milk to make a paste. Apply the paste to your face for ten minutes, then rinse off with cool water and pat dry. The antibacterial properties in basil leaves help kill acne-causing germs on the skin while also leaving it clean and smooth.

However, if you have been blessed with perfect skin, try this awesome recipe: First, melt one spoonful of beeswax in a double boiler. When it is completely liquid and has turned a golden brown color, add two tablespoons of honey and half a spoonful of ground oats. Remove from heat and stir well until the mixture cools down and forms a paste.
